The Children’s Museum of Houston recently doubled its size so there’s plenty of room to play, dance, create and, for the Halloween season, at least, trick-or-treat. The McDonald’s Halloween Mansion offers kids lots of safely spooky choices: They can build a 3-D monster sculpture or design a scary face for a pumpkin. If they’re brave enough, they can construct a spider hat, complete with eight long legs, the perfect Halloween accessory. On October 31, everything gets kicked up a notch at the McDonald’s Monster Mash Bash. DJ Lurch will be spinning fun and creepy tunes, while the Ronald McDonaldยจ magic show will stump kids and leave them wondering, “How does he do that?” There’ll also be a screening of Cyberchase: The Halloween Howl. No matter when you visit, come in costume and ready for some trick-or-treating. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. Through October 31. For a full schedule, call 713-522-1138 or visit www.cmhouston.org.
