Every year, Theatre Under the Stars hosts the Tommy Tune Awards,, named after Broadway icon and Lamar High graduate Tommy Tune. This year a panel of theater professionals evaluated high school productions across the Houston area in 18 categories.
The two winners of the Jimmy Awards® for actors in a leading role will go on to compete nationally, representing TUTS and Houston at he National High School Musical Theatre Awards® (the
