This afternoon, Chron.com’s real estate blogger Nancy Sarnoff posted the above photo–a promising sign in the ex-box-office window of Bayou Place’s Angelika Film Center.
The theater’s closing in August was a huge bummer to moviegoers that enjoyed the Angelika’s convenient mix of first-run, foreign and indie features.
No word yet on the new tenant.
(Guess it’ll be too late for a screening of Black Swan.)
