It’s FotoFest season, and there are impressive, brilliant exhibits all over town. One that is especially worth notice is “OPUS, Autonomรญa,” currently at Talento BilingยŸe. Curated by Angel Quesada, the show brings together work from several local Latinos, including featured artist Rodolfo Hernรกndez. His provocative photograph Untitled shows a nude body that seems to have been taken apart and reassembled incorrectly. We see a pair of open legs, but there’s a back where the chest should be and a pair of hands are growing out of its neck. Some body parts are missing; others are abnormally bent. Done in a soft sepia tone, the image is simultaneously entrancing and off-putting. Other photographers include Sergio Santos, Elaine Mesker-Garcia and Ben Tecumseh DeSoto (who won our Best of Houston award for Best Photographer last year). 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Through June 4. 333 South Jensen. For information, call 713-222-1213 or visit www.tbhcenter.org. Free.
