Forming a band with your siblings is risky. (The Jackson 5 didn’t do so bad. But then again, consider Hanson.) The Phillips brothers Brandon, Zach and Adam who make up three quarters of the Kansas City-based punk band the Architects, took that risk when they formed the beloved ska-pop-punk band the Gadjits in the late ’90s. The band has dropped its ska-riffage altogether, settling on a more straight-ahead punk sound in the vein of the Jam. They hit Super Happy Fun Land today on the final stop of their Southwest tour in support of their upcoming LP, Revenge. Big City Dreams opens at 8 p.m. 2610 Ashland. For tickets, call 713-880-2100 or visit www.superhappyfunland.com. $6.
