ยSentient: Elementsย pairs the oil-on-canvas art of Angelina Nasso and Katsumi Hayakawa. The works look like opposites ย Nasso blurs landscapes and Hayakawa sharpens them up. Nassoยs paintings, among them Gentle People and Imbue, look like scenes washed away with only streaks of blue, green, purple and yellow left behind. Meanwhile, Hayakawaยs ยMicroscapeย series takes a more cartographical approach.
