The Andrews Brothers

You’ve heard of the Andrews Sisters? Now meet The Andrews Brothers, four brothers working as stagehands for a USO show in the South Pacific during WWII. When the Andrews Sisters are quarantined with chicken pox, the boys don wigs and high heels and take their place. It’s a lighthearted bit of theatrical fluff, peppered with great songs of the era and a nod to every drag queen who ever graced a stage. 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 3 p.m. Sundays. Through August 30. Stages Repertory Theatre, 3201 Allen Parkway. For information, call 713-527-0123 or visit www.stagestheatre.com. $30.

Wednesdays-Sundays. Starts: July 30. Continues through Aug. 30, 2009
