Filmmakers Allen Mondell and Cynthia Salzman Mondell document the anti-Semitism currently growing in Europe in their film The Monster Among Us. As the number of Holocaust survivors dwindles, anti-Jewish violence is on the rise. According to the film, the increase in hate crimes and acts of violence can be directly linked to radical Muslim immigrants ย and to the seemingly short memories of some Europeans. Sixty years ago, the world promised never to forget the atrocities committed during the Holocaust, but as the anti-Jewish actions once again flourish across the European Union, it seems society has done exactly that.
