A love story like few others, The Red Shoes is considered by many to be one of the best dance movies ever made. The film follows Vicky (played by Moira Shearer), a ballerina in love with both young composer Julian (Marius Goring) and dancing. Her director Boris (Anton Walbrook) promises her, “You shall dance, and the world shall follow.” But such fame comes at a price. Vicky must give up Julian or give up not only her leading role in the ballet The Red Shoes, but dancing altogether. See if love can stave off tragedy at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m. Sunday.
