Kinky Friedman is waiting to secure a spot on the upcoming Texas gubernatorial ballot. So to pass the time, the multi-careered Kinkster has momentarily slipped back into author mode. His new book, Cowboy Logic: The Wit and Wisdom of Kinky Friedman (and Some of His Friends), is a collection of thoughts and one-liners from the one-man one-liner machine and cigar aficionado. At his appearance today, you can expect a little campaign stumping. And you can even bring your babies for the Kinkster to kiss — if they don’t mind a little tobacco smell, that is. Friedman discusses and signs Cowboy Logic at 7:30 p.m.
