On Friday night, it’s time to party. So if you’re gonna stay home, it better be for something good, like PBS’s local independent film showcase The Territory. Tomorrow, catch Moon Palace, the story of a restless young man’s search for his life’s calling, which turns out to be writing fortune-cookie one-liners and messing with people’s lives. Next week, you can look forward to Chaperone, about a girl and her aunt competing for the affections of a kind-hearted punk. Of course, you don’t have to choose between The Territory and the nightlife. The show’s over by 9:30 p.m., and the bars don’t close for hours.
