Second Baptist School was the big winner at this weekโ€™s Tommy Tune Awards, hosted by Theatre Under the Stars, winning Best Musical, Best Supporting Actor, Best Costume Design, Best Choreography and Best Direction for The Boy Friend.

TUTS today released the results from its April 18 program that was marred somewhat by the official Playbill that contained some wrong names of students, misidentified at least one school and misspelled Sweeney in Sweeney Todd.

It seems the Playbill didnโ€™t match the finalists list originally sent out by TUTS, with the result that some names of finalists were missing from the official program.

โ€œThere was a mistake in the actual Playbill, but all the original nominations that went out before and to all the schools were correct,โ€ a TUTS spokesperson said Friday. When asked how widespread the mistakes were, the TUTS rep said she had been out of the office for a few days but other people were checking on the extent of the problems and she would get back to us.

Still, all in all, things went better than last year, when the ceremony had to be canceled because of flooding.
