Don't give your blood to Art the Clown. Unless he's been in a serious accident, that is. Credit: Cinedigm

Have you ever had that “too much blood” feeling? As if you wished you could part with some of your hemoglobin in exchange for movie swag? Good news! You no longer have to hang out cemeteries waiting for a passing vampire, you can just go to the Regal Edwards Marq*E.

The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is holding a mobile drive at the Marq*E this Saturday, October 26, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In addition to that great/smug feeling that comes from helping your fellow humans, all donors will receive a poster for one of the following scary movies:

Terrifer
The Lord of the Rings
Strange Darling
The Babadook
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Hocus Pocus

Hey, Fellowshipย had a Balrog in it. That shit was intense.

Donors are strongly encouraged to sign up online, which you can do here.ย

Peter Vonder Haar writes movie reviews for the Houston Press and the occasional book. The first three novels in the "Clarke & Clarke Mysteries" - Lucky Town, Point Blank, and Empty Sky - are out now.
