Summer is traditionally a difficult time for organizations relying on blood donations, as accidents increase due to travel and regular donors are often on vacation. That situation has only been exacerbated by the recent catastrophic floods on the Guadalupe River

But you can help.ย The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center is holding a mobile drive at the Regal Edwards Marq*E this Sunday, July 13, from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. In addition to increasing the blood supply, all donors will also receive the following:

> $25 eGift card
> Poster from an undisclosed “blockbuster” movie
> Free ticket to Dig World in Katy

I had to look up Dig World. It’s pretty cool! You can operate a loader, an excavator, a boom lift, and more. There’s also a playground, sandbox, and yard games.

ย Donors are strongly encouraged to sign up online, which you can do here, or scan the QR code below.ย
