Hosting the recent Billboard Music Awards for ABC, the wildly unpredictable, normally unfiltered Tracy Morgan began with a standard shout-out to the lovely ladies in his Sin City audience: ”Somebody’s gonna get pregnant tonight!” Much to the surprise of his fans, but to the relief of network executives, it was to be the most risquรฉ statement Morgan uttered that night. As the guest of a network other than his standard home turf, NBC, maybe Morgan was being polite. We were expecting, at least, a House of Wax joke when he also called out Vegas royalty, Wayne Newton, as his biological daddy.
Expect no such restraint when the Saturday Night Live/30 Rock alumnus Morgan brings his Excuse My French national tour to Houston’s House of Blues. Ticket packages include a $250 Meet & Greet session, with a one-on-one introduction to Morgan that may or may not end with somebody getting pregnant.
