Vibrant colors, beautiful smiles and unibrows were everywhere the weekend of April 28-29 with East End Studio Gallery’s 12th Annual Frida Festival on the Navigation Esplanade. The party began with a Frida loteria game night on Friday, more games on Saturday, and the never boring, always fascinating Frida and Diego lookalike contests. The kids contest was on Saturday at 3 p.m. (so cute) and the grown-up contest was Saturday night at 8 p.m. Everybody enjoyed shopping for hand-crafted Frida merchandise, noshing on food truck fare and taking selfies at the Frida photo booths.
