Talk about a twofer. Combining the convenience of online catalog shopping with an up-close-and-personal visit to a gallery, Gallery Sonja Roesch and PrintHouston 2013 present “What’s in Store,” featuring items and works of art available through The UNIT Store website for the next year. “The UNIT Store was created as an easily accessible online platform to find affordable artworks by emerging artists,” GSR’s Ariane Roesch explains. “Prices range from $12 to $1,800.” The summer exhibition provides a range of work by 40 artists based in Houston; Los Angeles; Brooklyn, New York; Canada; and France. “It also shows what is possible with a limited edition,” Roesch continues. In addition to making shopping for art a supremely efficient experience, “What’s in Store” also presents three artist talks throughout its run, featuring ten of the exhibit’s locally based artists. “This will be more like a short informal talk,” Roesch explains. “The artist will discuss the work on display, how it fits in with their practice in general, and what draws them to making multiples.” Gissette Padilla, Kamila Szczesna and Kate Kendall are among artists participating in the talks.

Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Through August 24. 2309 Caroline. For information, call 713-659-5424 or visit www.gallerysonjaroesch.com. Free.
