Bleach out those armpit stains because itยs time once again for White Linen Night in the Heights. You wouldnยt want any yellow spots to dampen an evening of art, fashion, food, drinks, music and seeing and being seen in one of Houstonยs hippest neighborhoods. Every year organizers invite Houstonians to don their whitest whites and check out area businesses. Eateries such as Antidote Coffee, Spanish Flower, The Boom Boom Room and more offer food and drink specials, and the galleries will be showing work by J. Todd Allison, Ann Huey, Tad Lauritzen Wright, Lauren Boldon, Wesley Harvey and more. The night also features music by local DJs and bands such as Guppies from Outer Space, Governorยs Chair, Danielle Reich Trio and Led Zeppelin Tribute band Von Hindenburg. Worried walking wonยt get you there in time? Donยt sweat it ย seriously, youยll be wearing all white ย complimentary pedi-cabs, motorized rickshaws, and shuttles will be on hand to get you from point A to point B. 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Heights, between White Oak and 20th Street.
