We do so love gimmicky filmmaking here at the daily video project. Meet Conor, aka ChubbyBoi95, a British musician who took three hours out of his day to record and film “Looping Song.” Since our knowledge of Britain comes entirely from the movies, we can only assume he had to go without scones and stammering in awkward social situations to do so. That or get out of duty on the Death Star.
Through the magic of cinema, Conor starts playing instruments. Said instruments continue to play all on their own once he puts them down to add the next part while he smiles delightedly. We’d grin like that too if we had an enchanted rhythm section.
The whole effect is strangely charming, if a little cheesy, and Conor’s grasp of a good pop ditty isn’t bad at all. Looking forward to more.
