Houston was the second stop on Ed Sheeran’s North American leg of his Mathematics tour. -
A family of fans came prepared for the show in their Ed Sheeran gear. -

Fans were cheery despite the dreary weather. -

The Mathematics tour was a family event, even Dads were excited to see the pop-singer perform. -
Singer Khalid grew up an army brat, moving around the country throughout his childhood, but claims El Paso as his home. -

“I write songs, and sometimes other people sing them, sometimes those songs become very, very big and people around me say ‘Why did you give that song away?!’ and I always say ‘You can write another one!’ -

Sheeran explained that he doesn’t use backing tracks at his concerts, he uses an instrument called a looper to record live and play back as he’s performing. -
A fan designed her own Ed Sheeran themed shoes for the tour, complete with her favorite song lyrics. -
Fans of all ages were in attendance Saturday night. -
Sheeran is a pop singer but also raps and overcame a stutter as a child rapping along with Eminem. -
Sheerios who arrived early got the best spot for the show along the barricade. -
“Houston, it’s not lost on me that you’ve given up your Saturday night to be here, I know some of you have driven hours to be at this show.” -
Sheerios danced the night away on the floor and in their seats. -
Only a few eagle-eyed fans noticed when Ed Sheeran headed to the stage, hidden in his black box. -
“Houston did you have a good time tonight? Thank you so much for coming out! Thank you for singing, thank you for screaming, thank you for dancing!”
