Florence Welch and her Machine became music-industry darlings with 2009’s stompy Kate Bush-influenced debut album Lungs and its single “Dog Days Are Over.” In the meantime, the willowy redheaded Welch became an indie pinup girl and something of a fashion icon along the way. The band is currently touring behind Ceremonials, which made it onto plenty of 2011 best-of lists.
