In what is always one of the biggest concert announcements of the Houston year, RodeoHouston has released its 2025 artist lineup. This year has some old favorites, some new faces and a few surprises. As per usual, there is likely something for everyone in this list that covers the spectrum of rock, pop, Tejano, hip hop and, of course, country. The rodeo runs from March 4 through March 23. Let’s dig in.
First up, the veterans and there are plenty. Luke Bryan and Brad Paisley return in what is essentially an annual gig for the country music superstars. Joining them are rodeo vets Cody, Jinks, Old Dominion, Jon Pardi, Lauren Daigle, Katy singer Parker McCollum, and line-dancing stalwarts Brooks & Dunn. Journey will also make their return to RodeoHouston, their first time since 2023.

On opening night, the first woman ever inducted into RodeoHouston’s Star Trail Hall of Fame, Reba McEntire makes her first appearance at at the rodeo in 11 years. McEntire, here on the cusp of her 70th birthday, has become a hot commodity again after her three season stint on “The Voice” and a brand new sitcom on ABC, “Happy’s Place.”
Naturally, Bun B is back this year with his Birthday Extravaganza. This has become one of the most popular shows thanks to the Unofficial Mayor of Houston’s ever-changing and star studded lineup. In 2024, Drake, Nelly, Eve, DMC of Run-DMC, and Too Short joined the Houston legend. No telling who will be there this year.
But it’s some of the new faces who bring massive star power this year. Post Malone has been all over the place in 2024, joining Taylor Swift on her smash hit “Fortnight” and Beyonce during halftime of the nationally televised Texans game performing the song they did together on Cowboy Carter, “Levii’s Jeans.” His turn to country after pop stardom has been legitimate including duets with Blake Shelton, Morgan Wallen and Luke Combs.
And with Houston’s substantial Latino community, it’s no wonder RodeoHouston can attract an artist like Carín León, who routinely packs arenas with his regional Mexican songwriting. If that weren’t enough, the heavily requested Grupo Frontera will make their debut on Go Tejano Day this year.
Other notable newcomers include Riley Green, Bailey Zimmerman, AJR, Warren Zeiders, Charley Crockett, and Zach Top.
