Yeehaw. It’s not even December, but it’s apparently time to talk rodeo. This is Texas, after all, and boots are in season, even if in Houston you’re more likely to see Prada than cowboy despite what northerners might be inclined to believe.

Rodeo Houston announced today that Alabama (February 28), Big Time Rush (March 4), Zac Brown Band (March 12) and Brad Paisley (March 17) will be on the bill for the 2012 rodeo season, which runs February 18 through March 18 at Reliant Stadium.

The complete listing of artists performing at the rodeo will be announced in January.
