Today’s award for most ingenious low-fi promotion goes to Quiet Company, who are walking up and down Sixth, handing out free hugs. Rather than having to walk up to random passersby, they have people walking up to them. We gave their CD a quick listen on the headphones they provided, and it was pretty good, for a random track on the street. The hug, on the other hand, was kind of weak. Ah well.
