If Rocks Off learned anything at iFest these past two weekends, it’s that we should have started our own bottled-water franchise. And that when you go to a music festival, it’s a good idea to know who is playing and when. Running around willy-nilly is all well and good unless it’s 95 degrees outside.
We’re going to go ahead and assume you already know who is playing Free Press Summer Fest June 4 and 5 in Eleanor Tinsley Park. Now, moments ago, the festival released the schedule of stages and set times.

As for tickets, two-day passes are still available, but dwindling fast. Fancy Pants passes are gone (we think). If you really want to do Summer Fest in style, the festival is now offering the opportunity to rent one of ten “Baller Cabanas,” hilltop tents that come with six Fancy Pants passes, plenty of seating, a fan, and two cases of beer, one bottle of Dulce Vida tequila and champagne apiece per day, all for the low, low price of about $2,100.
Or, if you’re on a different kind of budget, passes for Saturday and Sunday’s Summer Fest afterparties at Fitzgerald’s are on sale for $5 at the venue’s Web site, but are only valid if you already have a FPSF pass. The other way to get into the festival is to volunteer. See complete information at freepresssummerfest.com or pegstar.net.
