A band’s sound usually takes years to develop, but in only two years the Tedeschi Trucks Band has honed its music into a crowd-pleasing product Rolling Stone called “a masterpiece,” in reference to debut album Revelator. The two former solo artists, Derek Trucks and Susan Tedeschi, have toured together before, but in the past their performances were comprised of an assortment of their individual pieces. Now the two write music together, and, along with the rest of their band, perform an eclectic mix of soulful, blues- and jazz-infused rock music. Trucks was also named one of Rolling Stone‘s 100 Greatest Guitarists last year.
