Wild Moccasins are playing yet another tour kickoff, this time headed out for the Midwest and Northeast before returning home to play this year’s much-awaited Free Press Summer Fest. If you somehow haven’t already heard of them, these local stars have a great melodic dynamic, their songs peppered with catchy riffs. The band deservedly has become one of Houston’s most popular, catching local buzz pretty much from their start. They won a 2011 Houston Press Best of Houston® award for Best Band Stage Show, and are working on their first new album since New West Records re-released debut LP Skin Collision Past last year. The opener, local electronic act LIMB, is an experience live, too.
