If you’re planning on dog shopping this weekend, we suggest heading down to the Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care (BARC). We got word today from Kathy Deffebach, BARC Foster Coordinator, that the place is completely full and, unless these four-pawed cuties get a home, they’ll be euthanized. The adoption fee is only $55 and all the dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped (so you can find them no matter where they end up). If you can’t adopt a pet, talk to Deffebach, who can tell you about how to be a foster parent for a dog of your choice.
You can go here and search under Houston, TX and BARC to see the pups up for adoption.
It’s true that all dogs go to heaven, but you can be a reason it takes them a little longer to get there. — Dusti Rhodes
