It may not enter the pantheon of great criminal nicknames, but Robert “Chicken Lips” House has earned a different singular honor: He’s been named to Texas’s Top 10 Most Wanted Sex Offenders list.
House, 41, is wanted for failure to register as a sex offender and for parole violations, the Department of Public Safety says. He has been convicted of sexual assault, burglary of a habitation, assault and possession of marijuana.
The Van Zandt County man likes his ink: “He has several tattoos, including a cross on his upper left arm, a rose and heart on his upper back, moon and stars on his upper left chest and a dagger and the words “ERIC RONNIE” on his upper right chest,” DPS says.
He also can be convicted of the misdemeanor crime of wearing a bandanna during a mugshot, if an earlier DPS photo is any indication.
DPS is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to House’s arrest, but the agency warns that he should be considered dangerous.
Instead of trying to apprehend him, DPS says:
— Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS (8477).
— Text the letters DPS–followed by your tip–to 274637 (CRIMES) from your cell phone.
— Submit a tip through the DPS Web site by selecting the fugitive you have information about, and then clicking on the link under their picture to submit a web tip.
