A double shooting left one man dead and one injured Friday evening on the northeast side, police say.
Houston police sources told reporters that a drug deal was suspected in the death of a man found dead in the 9700 block of Galaxy shortly before 7 p.m. Friday.
Christopher Jones, 29, was found dead from a gunshot wound.
The other victim of the shooting was taken to Ben Taub and is expected to recover, police said.
The suspect got away in a gray sedan, police said.

Update: Houston police are looking for Herbert Goldsmith, 21, who’s been charged with murder.
