We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it’s time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we’ll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day’s work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
Some guys just never give up. In the case of James Edwin Durham, that means he never stops committing crimes in Lufkin…or getting mugshots taken. In his (dis)honor, John Nova Lomax wrote about his incarceration and with it, we provided a musical slideshow of his many, many mugshots.
This brought several comments, but this particular one from Ribalding caught our eye.
He’s not a repeat offender. He’s some new breed of hayseed criminal savant.
As such, I believe he should be released into the wild, for further study.
“Hayseed criminal savant” should be a psychological disorder name or the description for a serial killer on Matlock.
