We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it’s time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we’ll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day’s work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
In what had to be one of the most inappropriately clever press release titles in recent memory, city council candidate Eric Dick opened a statement about Mayor Parker’s decision to crack down on campaign signage with the title, “Parker Afraid of Dick.”
Get it? She’s a lesbian! Dick is slang for penis! GET IT???
Anyhoo, we expected commenters would weigh in on this and, of course, they did.
One of our favorites was from regular commenter Early Cuyler:
True story, I was once driving to a job in Victoria, and there were signs along the road that said Reelect Sheriff Robin Rape.
