Charges have been filed in the case of a man stabbed on the south side on May 8, who lingered in the hospital before dying.
Yvonne Coleman, 35, is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the fatal stabbing of Dennis Traylor, 44.
Traylor was stabbed in the torso in the 5100 block of Van Fleet.
Says HPD:
Coleman and Mr. Traylor were involved in an argument at the residence on Van Fleet. During the confrontation Coleman stabbed Mr. Traylor. Coleman had been visiting the location as a guest of Mr. Traylor’s nephew. She remained on the scene and was arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
An upgraded charge of murder is pending against Coleman.
