Police have arrested a man in connection with last week’s murder of Robert Gutierrez, 25.
Edward Montemayer, 22, is charged with murdering Gutierrez as the two got into an argument in Denver Harbor June 12. Police say he shot the victim several times in the 6900 block of Boyce.
He fled the scene, but investigators traced him to the murder and he was arrested Friday without incident.
A search of public records does not show Montemayor having a previous criminal record.
