There’s a press conference tomorrow at the Texas Medical Center to discuss the “strong progress” being made by Arizona Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords as she recovers from her shooting.
There may be a more dramatic announcement: Fox News is reportingthat they confirmed today that Giffords will attend the shuttle launch of her husband, Mark Kelly, in April.
Such a move has been talked about as Giffords’ recovery has gained momentum, but it would still be somewhat of a surprise. And quite the media event, of course.
No official word has been forthcoming from her staff, however, so for now it remains unconfirmed.
