| Javed Shakeen Linton, accused of murder |
A 29-year-old man was shot in the back as he sat in the driver’s seat of his car Wednesday afternoon on the far west side.
James Sias was shot by Javed Shakeen Linton, 25, police say. Linton was arrested Thursday.
Police say Sias was sitting in his car in the 11100 block of Plumpoint Drive about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday when he was shot in the back by Linton. Sias tried to drive away but crashed into a fence and died, police said.
