Here’s today’s tip for Houston bank robbers: If the FBI’s press release about you is able to note a detail like “he even had a skull tattooed on the back of his head,” you’re probably not taking that extra step to disguise your identity.
Now, if you hang out in a colony of a couple thousand people who have visible skulls tattoed onto the back of their head, you’re probably OK.
But would it kill you to put on a hat? Maybe one of those Manny Ramirez hats the LA Dodgers (used to) sell with fake shoulder-length hair extensions coming out the back?
The perp in question hit a Bank of America branch at 414 Uvalde today, and, like we say, he wasn’t quite clear on the whole “try to blend in” concept.
“The robber is described as a white male, mid 20’s to early 30’s, 5’7″ to 5’9″ tall, medium build, who was heavily tattooed on his arms and body. Witnesses say he also had an image of a skull tattooed onto the back of his head. The tattoo was visible because the robber had very short hair. He was wearing a short sleeved tee shirt with a design on it,” the FBI said.
Along with a robbery Friday, that brings the total in Houston this year to 52, as compared to 40 up to this date last year, the FBI said.
