This just came in off the wire from METRO:
Because of a police action occurring Downtown, METRO is detouring more than a dozen major bus routes that travel Louisiana and Milam. This includes the: 3, 44, 78, 79, 56, 102, 108, 137, 221, 163, 236, 244, 246 and 247. All northbound buses on Louisiana are making a right on Jefferson, left on San Jacinto, left on Walker and right on Louisiana. All Park & Ride southbound buses are turning left on Dallas, right on Fannin, and left on Pierce. Local buses heading west of Downtown are turning right at St. Joseph to their regular routes.
This is helpful information unless, of course, you’re currently sitting at stops for the 3, 44, 78, 79, 56, 102, 108, 137, 221, 163, 236, 244, 246 or 247 and don’t own a computer with wireless access.
