So Dan Kramer and I were standing around, hanging out with the TV news cameramen, when the cops just pushed everyone back a block. Lucky us, we turned around and walked back in the building. Take that, Channel 2, with your fancy helicopter! We’re reporting live from right across the street.
On that note, word on the street says there are actually two dudes inside that parking garage. Allegedly, at least. And there are tons of bad-ass machine guns, but thankfully those belong to the cops. And a couple of huge — huge! — vans. We don’t know what those things are for, but in the words of music listings editor Brett Koshkin, they’re freakin’ awesome. — Keith Plocek
