Tommy “Bo” Granger, former coach at Ozen High School and the so-called Father of 3K, has been acquitted of charges of child indecency, the AP reports.
You might remember Granger from this story in the paper version of Houstoned.
Judge Layne Walker of the 252nd state District Court said there wasn’t enough evidence for a conviction. Granger still faces a civil suit.
The AP story incorrectly states that 3K stood for “Kutchie Kissing Klique.” The correct spelling of the first word is “koochie,” which means something else entirely. – Keith Plocek
