The 2023 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Kicked off on February 28. Many Houstonians attend the Carnival and Concerts but don’t forget there’s an actual Rodeo competition happening as well. Night two of the Rodeo competition included Tie-Down Roping, Bareback Riding, Saddle Bronc, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, and Breakaway Roping. These events are part of Super Series 1, taking place February 28-March 2, where athletes compete to earn a spot in the Semi-Finals, and eventually the Championship and Shootout competitions.
