Texas Congressman Ron Paul, the once-Libertarian-now-Republican presidential candidate, was affable enough on The Colbert Report last month.

Now check out this old appearance on the Morton Downey Jr. Show where he whacks an audience member who calls for a government crackdown on drugs.
