This weekend Halliburton announced plans to move its corporate headquarters from Houston to Dubai.

We here at HouStoned are unsure exactly which tack to pursue when covering this story. We could…

a) wonder where the HPD mounted division is now going to find protestors to run over with its horses;

b) bemoan the potential loss of jobs due to the outsourcing of war profiteering to other countries;

c) chuckle at the company’s stated motives to expand its business in the Middle East;

d) worry about Houston losing its place in the national media, but then remember we’ll always have Anna Nicole Smith and Lisa Marie Nowak; or

e) all of the above.
