We said it this morning, and it’s happening even faster than expected. Steve Freakin’ Francis is coming back to the Rockets. Though Francis got better options financially from the Heat, Mavs and Clippers, he chose to come back to the team for which he was a three-time All-Star. His style is a perfect match for Adelman’s goals. During his five seasons with the Rockets, he averaged 19.3 points, 6.4 assists and 6.1 rebounds.
The roster was already shaping up with the underrated draft picks and surprising trades, but now it’s solidified – the Rockets will definitely be a team to watch out for. And it’s not over just yet. Morey and Adelman are still looking into more changes since they have five point guards now. The bench is going to kick ass. There’ll be the athleticism that’s missing. And it’ll no longer be a two-man team. – Ishanee Parikh
