The Astros hosted the Seattle Mariners at Minute Maid Park on April 3, 2017. Astros slugger George Springer hit a solo home run in the first inning off Mariners ace Felix Hernandez to give the home team an early lead. Astros short stop Carlos Correa added another solo shot in the fourth inning. Houston starter Dallas Keuchel kept the visitors scoreless as the Astros went on to win 3-0.
