We were gone on vacation last week, so we missed the unveiling, on Sugar Land’s municipal website, of the proposed new minor-league stadium.
The city is seeking bids on a contractor to build the $30 million facility according to the plans already developed.
It will be located near the Southwest Freeway and 90A and is expected to be open for the 2012 season.
Who will play there? The city, after stumbling badly with its first three proposed names, is still open to suggestions.
