The path of totality across the Texas Hill Country Monday, April 8, 2024 for the total solar eclipse was an event on the minds of many people for several years. The recent poor weather forecasts may have deterred many in the Houston area from traveling to see the phenomenon but the cloudiness of the sky gave the viewing of the eclipse at Tumtacker Ranch a unique perspective. The next total eclipse to cross North America will not be for more than 20 years in 2045. (Photos by Jack Gorman)
