Houston police are investigating the death of a three-month-old baby on the southeast side August 30.

The baby boy, whose name has not been released, died after being taken to Texas Children’s Hospital and the cause of death is pending autopsy results by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Police say that about 11:30 p.m. August 30, the child was found unresponsive in the 7700 block of Glenvista: “The infant was fed a bottle and then put to bed at approximately 11 p.m. His father woke up approximately 15 minutes later and says he found the baby cold to the touch and not responding,” police said.

Paramedics performed CPR but were unable to revive the child.
