A woman was found dead from “an apparent laceration to the head” out on Telephone Road Christmas Eve, Houston police say.
The body was discovered by a passer-by about 7:20 p.m. and the victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. There are no known witnesses or suspects, and the case is being investigated by both the HPD homicide and vehicular crimes units.
