A two-year-old female found bruised and unresponsive in a southeast-side home Tuesday has died, and police are waiting for autopsy reports.
The child was found unresponsive in a home in the 7500 block of Plum Creek about 2:50 p.m. Tuesday, police say, and was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital downtown, where she died.
“A preliminary investigation determined the baby had suffered bruising to her body.” HPD says.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will determine the cause of the child’s death.
